We’re proud to share that we have won the prestigious Best Turnaround of the Year at the national TRI Awards! Up against some of the UK’s leading blue-chip companies, we’re pleased to be able to bring national recognition to the amazing work being done in the social care sector.
The annual TRI Awards ceremony was held at Hilton London Bankside on the 8th December, where it welcomed industry leaders in turnaround, restructuring and insolvency to acknowledge the achievements of businesses promoting excellence across all sectors.
Best Turnaround of the Year is considered the most recognised award of the night, with previous winners including global firms and companies across finance, law and business recovery. This year’s finalists included leading blue-chip giants, EY and PwC.
That’s why taking first place in this year’s Best Turnaround of the Year category is such an honour, reflecting the incredible work that our experienced consultants have continued to provide for our care home clients throughout the current challenges facing the social care sector, as well as the level of expertise and support we share.
Winning Best Turnaround of the Year
On the announcement, Tony Thiru, CEO of Fulcrum Care says: “Winning this against the likes of EY and PwC is about the importance of the care sector being recognised increasingly and its far reaching impact in our society.
“We’ve shown it is possible to turn around care businesses, and the positive impact it has on the bottom line is just scratching the surface as the benefits to people impacted (residents, families, staff and the local community) is probably incalculable.”
A leader in care home turnarounds
As expert care consultants, we support many care homes improve their care service through turnarounds. This can help them provide the best quality of care for their residents, achieve a higher CQC rating and even avoid closure if they’ve been placed into Special Measures.
By working closely with care homes as a member of their team, we identify and solve the challenges they may have, ensuring better care standards, regulator confidence and an increase in their commercials.
