2022 has been a record year for Fulcrum Care. We have helped more care homes improve their operations, compliance and commercials, recruiting more expert consultants to deliver this support to care home managers and providers up and down the country. We’ve celebrated our 5th anniversary, won Best Turnaround of the Year in the Turnaround, Restructuring and Insolvency Awards, raised money for the Care Workers’ Charity – and more!
Fulcrum’s year in numbers
In 2022, we have continued to grow our support for care home owners, managers and investors, to ensure that residents around the country receive high-quality care, including:
- 164 care homes helped to meet compliance targets
- 121 care home providers supported
- 45+ professional care consultants employed (31 full time)
- 12 care homes saved from urgent closure
- 16 care management teams onboarded to a digital Quality Management System.
- 9 care homes under management (expected to be 20+ in 2023)
Celebrating five years of helping care homes
In May, we celebrated five years of helping care home owners, providers and investors deliver compliant, high-quality care with a party at the Savage Garden rooftop bar in London with our clients, suppliers and collaborators.
Karen Johnson joins as Fulcrum’s new Head of Quality Assurance
In April, we were proud to announce that renowned care professional, Karen Johnson, had joined Fulcrum as our new Head of Quality Assurance. TRI Awards Best Turnaround of the Year winners
We were delighted to win the Best Turnaround of the Year award at the prestigious Turnaround, Restructuring and Insolvency (TRI) Awards – against some of the biggest businesses in the UK, including international management consultants EY and global accountants PwC. For Fulcrum to have made the cut against such fierce competition is a huge testimony to the dedication and expertise of our consultants.
Raised money for the Care Workers’ Charity
We were pleased to raise £1,500 to support the valuable work of the Care Workers’ Charity through our CQC Single Assessment Framework webinar, held in conjunction with Tim Dallinger, of Social Care Consultants LTD and Neil Grant, from Gordons Partnerships Solicitors. We were equally pleased that we were able to update attendees about the details of the Single Assessment Framework, announced by the CQC just hours before.
