We’ll be exhibiting at the Dementia, Care & Nursing Home Expo on 25th and 26th April 2019 at the NEC in Birmingham. We’ll be on stand D12.
We’ll be showing two very exciting new technology services.
Person-Centred TV (PCTV)
Fulcrum’s Person-Centred TV is a fully customisable, tailored programming and information service that gives your residents a better viewing experience.
You can include a news ticker, the weather, and the date and time. Plus, you can show other information, such as your programme of activities and your daily food menu.
PCTV aids orientation. With dementia, people can lose their sense of time and place. So permanently displaying the date and time on TV screens can really help. Local information and news can help avoid disorientation and confusion. Care-givers can also use the weather and date and time information to give helpful gentle orientation clues. And good orientation even helps avert the risk of falls in people living with dementia.
Quality Management System (QMS)
The Fulcrum QMS is a comprehensive app and web-based system containing a suite of audits that are modelled on best practice.
It’s an improvement tool to manage your care home. It helps you to measure how well your home is doing via a series of audits, reporting and self-assessment features. You can collect data in consistent formats, standardise your operations, supply reports, and identify substandard or failed areas that need resolving
Using the CQC’s 24 Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOEs) the system supports your continuing CQC compliance.
