Janaka has worked in the care sector for more than ten years. He has worked as the Head of Finance for a mid-sized care operator in England and was also the Financial Controller for a retirement village operator backed by a private equity firm.
Previously, Janaka worked in finance, operational and senior management roles in a software and information technology company.
Janaka is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). He has an MBA from the Stuttgart Institute of Management and Technology.
