Nicola Holmes - Service Transformation Partner

Nicola is a highly experienced health and social care professional with a strong background in service transformation, turnaround management and regulatory improvement. Her career spans residential care, dementia services, learning disabilities, advocacy and consultancy, giving her a broad understanding of both frontline delivery and operational leadership. She has extensive experience supporting providers with mock inspections, compliance, coaching and service improvement, often working with services requiring rapid and focused intervention.

Nicola has successfully led services through significant regulatory and operational challenges, including supporting homes in special measures, improving CQC outcomes, strengthening safeguarding processes and rebuilding relationships with commissioners and other stakeholders. She also brings specialist knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act, DoLS and advocacy, having worked as an Independent Mental Capacity Advocate and developed guidance used by care services.

At Fulcrum Care, as Service Transformation Partner, Nicola works closely with providers and leadership teams to identify underlying challenges, strengthen systems and embed sustainable improvements.
